Grindelwald

Grindelwald! We simply love this small town in Switzerland. Our initial intention traveling to Grindelwald is for easy travel to Jungfraujoch but we fell in love with this place especially it was winter when we were there.

Everywhere in the town has stunning snow-cap mountain views.

Getting There :

It took us quite a long time to figure out how to travel to Grindelwald by train from Milan. We took a train from Milan to Grindelwald and had to change the train two times, once at Spiez and the other at  Interlaken OST. We managed to book the Supersaver tickets at CHF50 per person. The train tickets can be booked directly online.

Grindelwald Train Station

There are shops along the road selling mostly winter stuff and souvenirs and 2 supermarkets. One of the supermarket is located very near to the train station, perhaps 3 minutes walk. We did some groceries shopping and bought some drinks back to the hotel.

We bought this Switzerland cow bell as souvenir and currently it is hanged on my door as doorbell :)
